Information we process

GS BTSecurity processes account details, company and client records, guard information, locations, shifts, incidents, access-control records, evidence, panic alerts and billing records when these functions are used.

Purpose and lawful processing

Information is used to provide contracted security-management services, protect people and property, maintain operational records, comply with lawful obligations and improve system reliability. Each subscribing security company remains responsible for its own lawful instructions, notices and operator obligations.

Location, camera and evidence data

GPS, camera, CCTV and incident evidence must only be collected with appropriate authority. Access should be limited by role, retention periods should be documented, and evidence should be disclosed only where authorised or legally required.

Security and retention

We use account controls, tenant separation, audit records and encrypted HTTPS transport. Customers must protect passwords, remove former users and configure appropriate retention. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Your rights

South African data subjects may request access, correction or deletion where applicable, object to certain processing, or raise a complaint with the Information Regulator. Contact support@gsblacktech.co.za.

Third parties and cross-border services

Configured providers such as hosting, email, maps, Firebase, payment gateways, messaging and video services may process limited data under their own terms. Customers should review those providers before activation.
