Service

GS BTSecurity is a security-operations software platform supplied by GS Black Tech. It assists with scheduling, tracking, panic reporting, incident management, patrol verification, access control, reporting, clients and subscriptions. It does not replace trained personnel, emergency services, radio procedures or the customer’s legal duties.

Accounts and authorised use

Customers must provide accurate registration details, maintain secure administrator access, assign appropriate roles and use the platform only for lawful security operations. Accounts may not be shared outside authorised personnel.

Subscriptions and payment

Plans, limits and prices are shown during registration or in the subscription screen. Trials expire on the displayed date. Paid access begins after confirmed payment. Fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where consumer law requires otherwise.

Availability and integrations

Live GPS, panic, video, maps, email, SMS, Firebase and payment features depend on compatible devices, permissions, connectivity and third-party providers. Maintenance, outages or provider changes may temporarily affect availability.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for POPIA compliance, employee and client notices, lawful monitoring, evidence handling, PSIRA and labour obligations, emergency procedures, backups and verifying that alerts reach the correct control room.

Acceptable use

No unlawful surveillance, harassment, false emergency reports, malicious code, unauthorised access or interference with the platform is permitted.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided as an operational aid. GS Black Tech is not responsible for security incidents caused by incorrect configuration, unavailable networks, unsupported devices, third-party failures or failure to follow emergency procedures.
